Fernando Beteta, Master Sommelier

Fernando is one of 172 Master Sommeliers in America and a passionate wine educator. He has background in international hotels and restaurants, speaks four languages fluently and has been recognized by Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast Magazine, Wine & Spirits and Crain’s Business. Fernando has lead large virtual tasting up to 3500 people, but enjoys connecting with small groups.

Ken Fredrickson, Master Sommelier

Following critical acclaim for his wine programs while working with world-renowned chefs Charlie Trotter (Charlie Trotter's ) and Wolfgang Puck (Spago, Chinois), Fredrickson ultimately attained the rank of Master Sommelier in 2000.

Fredrickson is a founding partner in Tokiwa Imports, Laika Spirits, Family Tradition Cognac and Rahi Imports a collection of spirit producers that fall under the High Road Spirits umbrella. These small specialty import companies tell the stories of families who are passionate producers from around the world.

Earlier in his career, Fredrickson conceived and opened acclaimed restaurants Koshu and Restaurant Terroir in Jackson, Wyoming and Adega Restaurant and Wine Bar in Denver

Alan Beasey, Certified Sommelier

Alan has held just about every position there is in the restaurant industry, recently the sommelier at James Beard Award winning restaurant The Purple Pig in Chicago. He is one of the country’s top sommeliers and has a strength in spirits and Mediterranean wines. Alan’s boundless passion for wine, beer, and spirits drives him to continually pursue a lifelong journey for knowledge in the world of beverage and it is his great pleasure to share that knowledge with anyone who shares that passion.
